Reston, VA – Reston Town Center announces the opening of Farinelli’s, a premium contemporary shopping destination for men and women’s apparel, accessories, and home furnishings. The brainchild of fashion guru Mauro Farinelli, the shop is a fine blend of the latest in private-label designer clothing, accessories – including exclusive jeans as a wardrobe staple – plus a growing selection of home accessories. (The pair of Louis Vuitton chairs are not just window dressing, they are for sale.) Farinelli and staff are well versed at offering education about fit and style for every body, with price points and styles for a fashion-loving clientele that ranges from 25 to 60 years of age.
“We provide a quality service for those who are label-conscious and really want to look good,” according to Mauro Farinelli. The shop carries the names that are seen in the iconic fashion sources, such as Vogue in print, and Gossip Girl on television.
The ever-changing collection at Farinelli’s includes apparel by the winners of Bravo’s Project Runway and the renowned CFDA Fashion Awards (Council of Fashion Designers of America, based in New York City) such as Alexander Wang, 2008 Vogue Fashion Fund Award winner, and Catherine Holstein. And there’s more, of course, from the USA and around the world. Farinelli’s brands include: Rag & Bone, Nudie Jeans, APC, What Comes Around Goes Around, Paul & Joe Sister, Spurr, Hudson, J Brand, Jean Shop, Paige Premium Denim, Citizens of Humanity, Kasil, Fred Perry, Kicking Mule Workshop, Nice Collective, RRL, Splendid, Joe’s Jeans, Alternative Apparel, AG, Ella Moss, Shirt by Shirt, and Current Elliott, to name a few. Farinelli’s is scheduling Trunk Shows featuring wear by many of these designers – stay tuned.
The first Farinelli’s store opened in Arlington in October, 2008. The Clarendon neighborhood shop attracted an abundant clientele from points west, especially Reston and South Riding, prompting the opening of this second location at Reston Town Center. Mauro Farinelli is renowned as a fashion leader in the DC region as the co-founder of The Denim Bar. Branching out with his own shops brings another development to a pinnacle: his exclusive line of Farinelli’s denim and apparel is coming soon.
“If it’s about style, Farinelli’s is the source,” says Farinelli’s Reston store manager, Laura Stolarik, who has two fashion degrees from the University of Delaware and is a home-grown fashionista herself, born and raised in Vienna, VA. As a student, she was a Denim Bar customer, and joined the staff after graduation. Mauro Farinelli offered her the manager job when he opened his own stores. Stolarik noted that through January 15, a post-holiday sale is in progress at Farinelli’s and everything in the store is 25% off to make room for new items arriving. “The spring collection is killer,” she says. Designs by Vena Cave, Pencey, Sea, and Imitation of Christ are on their way to the store.
Farinelli’s will launch the new location with a Grand Opening celebration in February – news of the date is coming soon. “Everyone’s welcome to come and enjoy the food, drinks, music, and fashion,” says Stolarik, “Be ready for a party!” For the latest information about Farinelli’s and “what’s in”, go to farinellis.blogspot.com.
