Following is an overview of the Myers PR team along with their individual areas of expertise. The Myers PR team is “at the ready” to support your goals.
Marion C. Myers, President
Marion has extensive experience in marketing and public relations. She specializes in strategic planning, multi-media promotion of special events, community outreach and public relations for commercial and residential real estate, and the promotion of economic development and tourism. Her commitment and leadership in community and business organizations have provided her with an extensive local and regional network to draw from. Marion is a former Board member of: Leadership Fairfax, Inc.; the Initiative for Public Arts – Reston; The Medical Care for Children Partnership Foundation; and the Reston Historic Trust; and is a Past Chairman of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. She is current Board Director of the Fairfax County Council for the Arts. Marion established Myers PR in 1991. Contact
Carol Nahorniak, Creative Director
Responsible for management and execution of special projects, PR, media research, and advertising placement. Carol joined Myers PR in 1999 with an extensive background in newspaper reporting, editing, photography, and graphics management. Carol has developed a standing, dependable relationship with media editors, reporters, bloggers, promotions departments and advertising executives in the Washington, DC region for multi-media promotion of special events and venues. Staying on budget is Carol’s forte. She has also maintained an active community volunteer career on the board of the Reston Historic Trust as Secretary, and as developer, co-chair of the annual Reston Home Tour since 2001. Contact
Billie Nicolotti, Senior Project Manager
Responsible for coordination, production and management of events at Reston Town Center. A 2000 graduate of Oklahoma State University, Billie joined Myers PR in 2005, coming from a background in event production, nation-wide marketing direction, and graphic design. Billie is a 2008 graduate of the Leadership Fairfax Emerging Leaders Institute. Contact
Kate Meier, Senior Project Manager
Specializing in Web 2.0 technology and creative media strategies, Kate brings an in-depth understanding and aptitude for integrating new media with traditional media campaigns. Kate joined Myers PR in 2008 after serving as Communications Director at the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. Her background includes managing online marketing and communications with state, national and international associations, as well as mixed-use developments and lifestyle centers. Kate is a graduate from the University of Virginia and the Emerging Leaders Institute of Leadership Fairfax, Inc. and currently manages our D.C. and Arlington-based clients. Contact
Elizabeth Bush, Graphic Design Manager
Elizabeth joined Myers PR in 2010, specializing in social media marketing and graphic design. She brings a background in writing, Web 2.0, and communication strategies, having provided marketing communications with national and international business clientele in the D.C. market. David joined Myers PR in August 2011 after managing the communication efforts for the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. With a background rich in creative online communications and web design, graphic design, print advertising, and social media marketing, David brings a fresh approach to the ever changing world of online communications. Annie Evans, Associate
Annie joined Myers PR in February 2011 and brings a background of 10 years experience in marketing, PR and event production. Annie lived in Manhattan for 9 years working in the event & marketing department of magazines including Esquire & Oprah magazine. Annie is a 2001 graduate of Elon College with a degree in Corporate Communications. Contact
Arja Sahramaa, Finance Manager
Responsible for accounting and administrative support. Arja joined the Myers PR team in 2005 with an exceptional background in bookkeeping, administration, and writing/editing. Arja is also responsible for posting and monitoring online promotions, plus tracking and clipping of traditional media promotions. She also works for the Reston Museum in a similar capacity. Contact
Paul Myers, Program Support
Responsible for IT and organizing internal reporting systems. Paul has an MBA and more than 20 years experience developing data collection and processing systems for government and commercial clients. He has extensive experience as an administrator for government contractors and accounting departments. He is also responsible for Myers PR's accounting and payroll services. Contact
